McCullagh Ramsay Management is an independent theatrical agency founded by James McCullagh and Helen Ramsay.
We've spent much of our working lives in rehearsal rooms, theatres and productions around the world. We've worked with performers at every stage of their careers, and we know that talent comes in many different forms.
MRM brings that experience together in an agency built around the people we represent. We take the time to get to know our artists, understand their ambitions and find opportunities that suit them.
We know the people we represent, we care about the work they do, and we're not afraid to pick up the phone on their behalf.
Helen Ramsay
Co-Founder and Agent
Helen Ramsay is an established choreographer, creative professional and educator with over 15 years' experience across the UK and international entertainment industry.
A graduate of Laine Theatre Arts, Helen holds a Trinity National Diploma in Musical Theatre and ISTD FDI Modern teaching qualifications. Her career spans professional performance, Dance Captaincy, choreography, creative direction and performer development.
She has worked with leading entertainment companies including Viking Cruises, Holland America Line, P&O Cruises, Royal Caribbean and Potters Leisure Resorts, developing an extensive understanding of the opportunities and demands of professional performance.
Continuing to work actively within the industry, Helen brings a particular insight into the worlds of dance and live entertainment, recognising the importance of versatility, individuality and building a sustainable performing career.
As Co-Founder of McCullagh Ramsay Management, Helen combines her creative experience with a genuine commitment to the artists she represents, supporting their individual ambitions and helping them pursue opportunities across the breadth of the entertainment industry.
James McCullagh
Co-Founder and Agent
James McCullagh is an established Musical Director and Musical Supervisor with over 25 years' experience across UK musical theatre, international entertainment and performing arts education.
A graduate of St Hugh's College, Oxford, his credits include Legally Blonde, Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret starring Will Young, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Cats for Royal Caribbean International.
James continues to work internationally, most recently with Blackburn International, creating and supervising production shows for Holland America Line. He has also held senior positions in performing arts education, helping emerging performers prepare for professional careers.
Having worked closely with creative teams, producers and performers throughout his career, James brings a valuable understanding of the industry to artist representation. His move into agenting is a natural extension of his experience and longstanding commitment to supporting performers.
As Co-Founder of McCullagh Ramsay Management, James combines his professional relationships and creative insight with a personal approach to representation, championing each artist's individuality and ambitions.
